Sabina

Managing Director

Registered Nurse, 15+ years in healthcare

Sabina is a Registered Nurse with more than fifteen years across the health sector, including hospital, aged care and disability care, before bringing that clinical depth into the community as Managing Director of Direct Care Assistance. Her career has given her a rare view of care from every angle, and she now uses it to support families and participants who need it most. For Sabina, this work is about giving back. It is the chance to turn years of clinical experience into real change in people’s lives, something she found the most rewarding part of nursing all along.

Away from work, Sabina loves spending quality time with her three beautiful young children. She loves going to the gym. She values making connections, sharing knowledge, and creating value for the people around her.

“Give your best to change people’s lives.”

Arati

Operations Manager

Bachelor of Nursing

Arati has been with Direct Care Assistance since its inception, starting as Support Manager before stepping up into her current role as Operations Manager. In that time, she has helped lead the organisation through real growth, all while keeping compliance tight and client care quality front and centre.

She brings more than ten years across the community care and aged care sectors, a depth of experience that shapes what quality care actually looks like at DCA. That knowledge is invaluable, not just to participants, but to the frontline managers and leadership team who lean on her guidance daily.

In her free time, Arati enjoys Pilates, hiking, and being out in nature, along with time spent connecting with family and friends.

Kiran

Chief Finance Officer

Bachelor of Professional Accounting, Certificate in Migration Law

Kiran has led Direct Care Assistance’s finances as Chief Financial Officer since 2021, steering the organisation’s growth with the same steady hand he brings to every number that crosses his desk. Around the office, he is the person everyone turns to when the figures need to add up, whether that is budgeting, forecasting, or untangling a tricky reconciliation.

What sets Kiran apart is how he pairs financial precision with genuine care for the people around him. He is known for being approachable and supportive, someone colleagues trust not just with numbers, but with the bigger picture of keeping the organisation running well for the people it supports.

Outside of work, Kiran spends his time at the gym and with his family, values that show up in how he leads: discipline, consistency, and showing up for the people who matter.

Jenni

Service Delivery Coordinator

Diploma in Community Services, Certificate IV in Disability, Certificate III in Individual Support

Jenni is one of those rare operators who has done every job she now oversees. Starting as a support worker five years ago, she moved up through Team Leader and Service Delivery Manager before stepping into her current role, a progression that gives her a ground-up understanding of what good care actually looks like, not just what it looks like on paper.

What really sets her apart is lived experience. She has personally navigated the trust it takes to place someone you love into another person’s care, and that shapes every decision she makes for DCA’s participants.

She leads with empathy but delivers with rigour, holding her team to the same standard of care she would want for her own family. It is this combination of technical grounding, frontline experience, and personal stake in getting it right that makes her someone participants and colleagues alike trust to get things done properly.

Outside of work, Jenni stays grounded through Pilates and breathwork, and measures a good life in time spent with family and friends rather than things owned.

“Small acts of kindness create big changes.”

Omar

Workforce Coordinator

Omar

Workforce Coordinator

Certificate IV in Disability

Omar has spent more than six years building his career from the ground up in disability support, starting as a support worker before moving into workforce coordination, the kind of trajectory that means he understands staffing decisions from the perspective of the person actually delivering the care.

That frontline grounding, combined with mental health first aid training, gives him a sharper read on matching the right worker to the right participant than most coordinators bring to the role.

His focus is squarely on outcomes: reliable, person-centred support that helps people live more independently, and a genuine belief that the small differences he makes in someone’s day add up to something bigger.

Outside of work, he is usually planning the next road trip, hike or cycling route, restless in the best way.

“Do good work and good things follow.”
